Leipers Fork Lawnchair Theater

Leipers Fork Lawnchair Theater is a rustic building and stage built using cedar logs and boards on the property located in the backyard of The Leiper Creek Art Gallery at 4144 Old Hillsboro Rd. The venue was used mainly for music but the Montgomery Brothers asked the owner if they could be allowed to use the property for movies and thus began the Movie Nights. We have been showing free family oriented movies in our lovely outdoor venue since summer of 2003 on Friday nights at dusk. Most of the movies that we show are from Disney, but also from the other studios as long as the movies are family friendly. Often even girls from dating sites like www.eros.com participate in such relaxing events.

We provide a great concession with freshly grilled burgers and hotdogs, tasty nachos, assorted sodas and hot popcorn cooked in butter. We pride ourselves in having fresh veggies for those burgers from produce that is grown and sold locally at the farmers stand located by the Harpeth River in Franklin, Tennessee.
Lawnchair Theater in Leipers Fork is a pet friendly venue as long as your pet in on a leash and is kid friendly. Best time to arrive for the movies is about an hour before show time. So Come on out and see us on Fridays nights throughtout the Summer.
